San Luis Obispo.
Recently I took a trip to the picturesque Santa Maria, well the boonies of San luis Obispo. When I arrived with my parents, I was greeted by a small annoying grimlin that they named Alex a.k.a my 10 year old uncle. Within 5 minutes upon my arrival I felt the sudden urge to gauge my eyes out after throwing him into a pond filled with electric eels. Unfortunately I was to exhausted from the trip that I instead binged eat at the beautiful Marisol at the Cliffs Restaurant.
The next day I met Alex's older brothers on his mothers side, there names Jared and Tag. Jared very petite and well dressed, Tag big, broad, and could possibly eat me alive. They were helpful for the day keeping Alex entertained but unfortunately not long enough when he ruined my peaceful horseback riding session with his horse Peachy. His high annoying girlish voice seemed to always give me a fright and made me want to run away from terror into the arms of an axe murderer.
Only my best friend Amanda believes that he is probably the most annoying kid to ever walk this planet. When my grandfather and Alex took a trip up to the bay area, Alex couldnt help but notice the giant rack amanda has been sporting since probably the 8th grade. He felt the urge to touch them and ask her vulgar questions that no 10 year old should know about.
Im very excited to see what will happen to this tall, skinny, gangly kid, when he enters high school. Theres two roads for this feminine toad horse and I'm anxious too see where he goes. Welcome to the good life Alex

Paris Katherine Jackson's Tearful Goodbye

Today we celebrated the life of The King Of Pop, Mr. Michael Jackson. Out of all the powerful speeches said by Rev. Al Sharpton, Brooke Shields, Smokey Robinson and many more. I don't think anything hits us as hard as the few words Paris Katherine Jackson spoke at the end of the ceremony. Her touching words,
"I just wanted to say ever since I was born,
daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine.
And I just want to say I love him so much."
Fashion Spot: Street Chic

Here is a cool and sexy look, a slim black dress
with a funky pair of polka-dot tights (but many other
patterned tights could also go with this outfit).
Pairing it with hard looking biker boots adds a
touch of individuality. And finally adding a bright color bag to this
all black outfit can really make you stand out more!

Saying goodbye to the King of Pop.

"Singers Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Usher and Lionel Richie,
and Motown records founder Berry Gordy,
will be among those taking part in
Michael Jackson's memorial on Tuesday, the family's
spokesman said."
(according to yahoo news)
Todays Fashion Spot.

Today's fashion spot I have found a trendy summer look.
Wearing long hunter boots with some short shorts is a fun look to experiment with
topping it with a loose tank that you can tuck into your shorts
and a long jacket or men's plaid button up will really perfect the outfit.
Also you may want to add a few accessories like black tights, a chic casual bag,
and a couple bangle bracelets will bring out the outfit even more
so enjoy this outfit and try it out!
Tara Reid at Diddy's

I am personally surprised that Tara Reid is considered a B-list celeb, I mean c'mon I consider her to be one of the best actresses of all time did you see her last movies "Clean Break" and "Senior Skip Day" oscar worthy I think. I mean so what if she was in rehab more times then Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton combined, and who cares that when you search her name on google her name doesnt show up in the help engine. She's a real winner, she's gonna make a huge comeback in her new movie "Land of Canaan" which is a horror movie about murders in a hotel. All horror movies are so good especially ones about hotels, just look at "Prom Night" that turned out to be one of the greatest horror movies. I only hope for the best of you Tara. Oh and hey before I forget...Welcome back to the good life.
Shopping day with mom.
Yesterday I woke up to my mother banging on my bedroom door, I guess forgetting that my door doesn't have a lock. She came in and told me that she wanted to go shopping to buy new wedges for me then a present for my aunt. I fell asleep for an extra 5 minutes till I heard my mothers loud screeching Filipino voice telling to "get my ass up and get ready to go to the mall" I glanced over at my clock and it read 1:30pm, and since I fell asleep at 5am I obviously under slept.
I got ready in record time and was surprised to see that my mother was ready too. We headed out for what I thought was going to be a hell-on-earth day. We arrived at Stoneridge Mall and entered through Macy's. My mother assumed she knew where the shoe section was, and wouldn't listen to me when I said "it's on the first floor" so... I left her, and as I predicted she followed me.
When we got downstairs we searched for shoes and only found one pair that I actually liked, unfortunately they didn't have my big ass foot size (10) so I was forced to help my mother look for sunglasses. She settled for a pair of $198.00 coach sunglasses that she couldn't get that day due to the ridiculous sale that has you pick up items on a different day in order to impress the new owners of Macy's (Bloomingdale's).
I listened to her complain about how she wanted to wear her sunglasses right away. I grew bored and started searching for a new bag, I found a beautiful Kathy Van Zeeland bag which screamed professional, which really made me want it more. My mother kept yelling "it's just not you, go for that shiny one". I hate shiny bags. Cheap looks is not for me.
After my mother said she was hungry, so we went to Starbucks. She asked me to find a seat and I found one next to a woman who immediately talked me. She talked about how if her children didn't go to college she would kill them, and how we need more women in the senate and house of reps and eventually a woman president, then she asked me to run for the presidency. At first I was mildly horrified to have this woman screaming and going crazy about woman's rights, I found myself mimicking her crazy expressions and had to stop myself. Then I became flattered when she said I was brilliant and had the look of determination in my eyes. She talked to us for 30 minutes then finally took off.
On the car ride home I thought about all the people rooting for me and realized that I shouldn't have to be pleasing those people. Its me that I need to make happy before others. I listened to my mother ramble on about something then she handed me a list of chores she wanted to do for the next day...Welcome to the good life.

The beginning...
I was born in a hospital like most, unless you're the lucky few born in the backseat of a Pinto or a God knows where location. But anyways I was born to a Josephine and Craig Hawkins. Josephine a Philippines native and Craig from the clean and safe streets of Cleveland, Ohio.
They constantly complain about how there lives were so tough having to walk ungodly miles to school in the snow, or some kind of tsunami. I heard them whine about the "fun" and "cool" classes their friends took that they couldn't because they didn't have money which I guess is a reasonable explanation but no reason to take it out on me.
My childhood was a little different then theirs, it consisted of 9 years of karate and piano (which I still haven't mastered), 8 years of singing lesson, 3 years of ballet and tap, 2 years of girls scout, and 2 months of guitar. My ex says I'm well-rounded, I call it a desperate attempt to get me out of the house.
Over the years I have developed a well knowledge of human behavior and unfortunately I see and hear things that most find entertaining, but I find disturbing and awkward. This is my life....Welcome to the good life.
